The big day is coming soon ? ?

For a smooth ski holiday without any problems, we're giving you all the key information to help you prepare the final details of your stay before departure, so you can leave with peace of mind. You'll also find our best advice to make sure you don't forget anything once you're in Le Grand-Bornand.

Before my departure:

→ I check my booking confirmation, organise my arrival time, and contact the host to arrange the key handover.

→ I check the weather, I organise my stay,
Thikgs to do on site If I have not already done so, I will book online through my client account: ski pass and/or ski lessons.
Services : I can also add to my booking: bed linen and towel hire, ski equipment hire and catered meals for the week.
Events during my stay : I check the agenda
Must-visit restaurants : I consult the list of restaurants on site.

→ I prepare my bag with all the essential  :
Documents : Booking confirmation, voucher(s) and my identity papers
Cloth  : Beanie, a pair of warm gloves suitable for skiing, a classic pair of gloves, snow boots, buff or scarf, a thick, warm puffer jacket, waterproof trousers for the snow, thick, warm ski socks.
Accessories  : Sun glaces, water bottle or thermos, hiking bag, camera.
Hygiene / Health: First aid kit, sun cream, mosquito repellent spray, lip balm, bed linen and towels, cleaning kit with hand soap, washing-up liquid, dishwasher tablets, sponge, tea towels, floor cleaner, toilet paper, bin bags, and washing powder. (Some accommodations provide sheets, towels, and a cleaning kit, check the accommodation details or ask your host if you can't find this information.)
Cars: Equipment suitable for driving on snow-covered roads, such as snow chains or snow socks if you do not have snow tyres.

→ I download the Grand-Bornand app from Google Play or on App Store.

On site :

→ I settle comfortably into my accommodation, enjoy the surroundings, and if I have booked ski passes through Grand-Bornand Réservation, I check the ski passes I have received.
I go to collect the bed linen, towels, and ski equipment from the relevant providers if I have booked these services.

→ I go to the tourist office in Le Grand-Bornand Village or Chinaillon for some advice and recommendations, to pick up ski maps, snowshoe trails, an events program, and my ski pass.

→ I check every day the live information (webcams, slope openings).
